Lanes, passing and emergency vehicles knowledge test practice

What you need to know
Keep to the right lane on roads with more than one lane in your direction unless you are passing or turning left. Choose a lane early, signal before you change, check mirrors and your blind spot, and move over only when there is enough room. Do not straddle lane lines or change lanes in an intersection.
Pass only when you can see far enough ahead, the road markings allow it and you have time to return to your lane before oncoming traffic arrives. Do not pass on a curve, near the top of a hill, at an intersection, at a railway crossing or when the view is blocked. Passing without a clear view of the road ahead adds penalty points.
When an emergency vehicle comes up behind you with siren or lights on, pull over to the right edge and stop, unless that would put you in danger. At an intersection, clear it first and then stop. Slow Down Move Over means that when you see a stopped emergency or service vehicle with flashing lights, you must slow down and move over if it is safe: to 70 km/h on roads with limits of 80 km/h or more, and 40 km/h on roads below 80 km/h.
