Car (category B) tests over the 12 months to August 2026, highest pass rate first. Ireland as a whole passed 52.4% of 267,818 tests. Clifden had the highest rate and Waterford the lowest.

How to read this
A centre’s pass rate is the share of tests it marked as passed. It says something about the roads and the examiners, but at least as much about the learners who book there: a centre where most candidates are on their first attempt, or come through a busy city’s queue, will not look like a rural centre with a short list.
The last 12 months are used rather than the calendar year so that every centre is compared over the same full year of seasons. Each centre’s page has the calendar years too.
